“Valley” Ranch Dressing Mix

2 cups dry, minced parsley flakes
1/2 cup dry minced onion
2 Tbsp. dill weed
1/3 cup onion powder
1/4 cup garlic powder (use 1/3 cup for garlic ranch)
2 Tbl. Sea Salt
1 Tbsp. arrowroot powder (for dressing)

Combine spices. Blend until powdered. Store in sealed container such as a Mason jar.
Keep at room temp for up to one year. If it smells stale, throw it out.

To make dressing: 1 Tbsp. mix to 1 cup plain yogurt and 1 cup heavy cream or goat milk. Could change the yogurt to sour cream.

FOR DIP use sour cream only. YUM!

Can make "buttermilk" with lemon juice and milk. Scant 1 cup milk (that's a bit less than a cup, not an exact measurement) to 1 Tbsp. lemon juice or apple cider vinegar (with mother, not filtered).

Add mix to chicken salad for a fresh twist.
